Plagiarism is a serious issue. You should make every attempt to understand what it is and avoid committing it in your academic work.  Faculty at NWC take issues of academic integrity very seriously and you should too. This guide will help you recognize plagiarism and give you some tools to help you prevent committing plagiarism in your written and oral work.

We have placed the pages above in, what we think, is a logical order, but if you want to jump into a topic without working through the earlier pages, you should be able to do that successfully.

Remember, if you cannot undertand a concept in this guide, please get in touch with us or contact your professor.  We are here to help you.
